PERFORMANCE CALENDAR

Thanks for looking us up!

Most shows start at 8:00 PM * unless noted

Mar. 29, 2008 SloGrass, with Paul DellaValle opening $12
This steadfast and talented band has quietly become one of the areas best and longest lasting groups - 15 years and counting! Using Bluegrass instrumentation (mandolin, banjo/dobro, guitar and bass), their songs are selected from a world of music (Beatles to Gypsy Kings) and presented in a melodic and accessible way. Their stage banter is always fun, and their arrangements are concise and musically interesting, featuring Fran McConville, Dave Dibiasio, Mark Davis and Bob Dick.

April 5, 2008 The 3rd Annual Mike Duffy Tribute Show $12
**Special start time: 7:00 PM**
Songs written by Duffy, about Duffy, or just based on skewed or off-color humor, and poetry to boot - this will be a night to remember. Mike had often played the Roo, booked some other acts here, and loved the room. Again it's time for us to give back the love: This huge show is a benefit for Matthew 25, Mike's favorite charity. Mac Cole, Joe Fusco Jr.,
Chip Karle, Dave Karle, Ron Carlson, Dee Cole & Bob Evarts, Tom Ewart,
Chuck and Mud, Tim Mason, Jon Roper and Deb Barron, Nate Smith,
Ed Zaloom and Rich Arsenault, Rich Leufstedt Jr., Kevin Braney and
Karen Lennox will all perform. Please dress appropriately - camouflage!

April 12, 2008 Benefit Concert for AIDS Project Worcester $10
The Latin Endorphins
and Olde 'Nuf to Know Better kick up the beats, so you can move your feets. Have fun and raise money for the area's hardest working social service organization.

May 3, 2008 The Baby Boomer Revue $15
Music…Comedy…Magic…and information on finances, relationships and medical wonders! This is definitely something different for us, but aimed right at ours, the largest and yet most underserved generation. This show features rock and blues from The Buzzards, meaningful magic from David Reed-Brown, and the original songs of Mary Ann Rossoni - all hosted by SteepleJack, Ken Ferguson. A fun night out!

May 10, 2008 Kitchen Musicians Production Stay tuned!

Watch for a Green Rooster in the Park concert this summer...and we'll be starting strong next fall with Cormac McCarthy followed by Aztec Two-Step, Tony Bird, and Amy Gallatin & Stillwater.

Thanks for dropping in!

We always need Volunteers!
